‘The Experience’ is an all-night gospel music concert hosted by Pastor Paul Adefarasin, Senior Pastor of House On The Rock, Lagos, Nigeria.
It started on 1st December, 2006 with an attendance of about 40,000 people and has since grown exponentially to hundreds of thousands of worshippers, making it arguably the largest gospel concert in the world.
Birthed by a God-inspired vision, it provides a platform where all can raise their hearts, hands and voices together as one in unfettered praise to the Almighty irrespective of tribe, denomination, creed or language.
REACH
Now in its seventeenth (17th) iteration, ‘The Experience’ has become a favourite destination event for gospel music enthusiasts from all over the nation, the continent and the world, where hundreds of thousands of people gather to worship and praise God from dusk till dawn – regardless of class, race, or religion.
It is highly anticipated by Christians and non-Christians alike, and it averages an annual attendance of over 500,000 people at the Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos, Nigeria, with masses more watching online from all over the globe, creating a digital footprint in all 7 continents of the world.

THE CONVENER
Paul Adefarasin is the Founder and Metropolitan Senior Pastor of the House On The Rock, a multiracial, multi-tribal, and multifaceted Church with several daughter Churches and ministries throughout Africa and in Europe.
He is the Founder and President of The Rock Foundation, a charity committed to social reformation, education, provision of healthcare and relief work within Nigeria.
A Christian Minister, Author, Coach, Motivator, Television Broadcaster and Speaker, Paul Adefarasin is well-known for his clear message of grace and a burning passion for the transgenerational transformation of society, his nation and his continent. He preaches hope, healing, productivity and empowerment to all through his television broadcast, ‘Something Is About To Happen’, which continues to air in millions of homes across Africa and Europe after more than 20 years.
Paul Adefarasin is the convener of “The Experience” – the largest annual musical event in Africa. He is also the immediate past Deputy National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) – the umbrella body for charismatic word of faith and Pentecostal churches in Nigeria, and a life member of its National Advisory Council.
Pastor Paul is married to Ifeanyi, who co-pastors the House on The Rock Church with him. They have three children.
